What we want to tell our children is that they are smart, amazing, awesome, special, one of a kind, and that they can accomplish anything they put their mind to.

However, the reality is that our children are quite imperfect like the rest of the humans on earth, and they too will experience failure, heartbreak, pain, and many other struggles.

Kids focus on what they want in the moment. That means you get to hear a lot of complaining when you're parenting them. Please remember that even when your children don't realize it, they are very blessed to have a caring parent in their life!
